DIGIPASS 865 can be connected to the computer with the included USB 2.0 cable. This allows you to use all eID applications such as authentication and digital signatures. DIGIPASS 865 can also be used in unconnected mode.

Dynamic one-time password authentication

When your DIGIPASS is not connected to the computer, DIGIPASS 865 generates one-time dynamic passwords as well as e-signatures. In combination with  VACMAN authentication software or the authentication server IDENTIKEY, it enables you to secure your network and applications. Only selected authorized users will be able to log-on and use your applications.

Authentication, encryption and digital signatures as possible

This type of DIGIPASS allows authentication, encryption and decryption, and digital signing of documents when connected to the computer.

PIN for increased security

DIGIPASS 865 is secured with a PIN code. This PIN is linked to the identity data. Only the owner of the eID can make use of the different eID applications upon the PIN code.

The PIN code is entered on the keypad of the DIGIPASS device. This adds an extra security layer as the PIN code is not exposed over the network, PC platform or Internet.

The 8-line display of DIGIPASS 865 allows extended data field validation. This allows you to validate significant key data on the display before signing any transaction.
