DIGIPASS 855 can be connected to the computer with the included USB 2.0 cable. This allows you to use all eID applications such as authentication and digital signatures. DIGIPASS 855 can also be used in unconnected mode.

Dynamic one-time password authentication

When your DIGIPASS is not connected to the computer, DIGIPASS 855 generates one-time dynamic passwords. In combination with VASCO’s VACMAN authentication software, it enables you to secure your network and applications. Only selected authorized users will be able to log-on and use your applications.

Authentication, encryption and digital signatures

This type of DIGIPASS allows authentication, encryption and decryption, and digital signing of documents when connected to the computer.

PIN for increased security

DIGIPASS 855 is secured with a PIN code. This PIN is linked to the identity data. Only the owner of the eID can make use of the different eID applications upon the PIN code.

The PIN code is entered on the keypad of the DIGIPASS device. This adds an extra security layer as the PIN code is not exposed over the network, PC platform or Internet.
It gives you the assurance that your information will not be intercepted!
